Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism with related Ministries established Japan Association for Smart Cities in ASEAN (JASCA) in October 2019, and through initiatives such as information sharing between public and private parties and support for matching Japanese technologies and services, JASCA is promoting cooperation with ASEAN Smart City Network (ASCN).
This time, JASCA will be holding a smart city seminar in Punggol Digital District, Singapore. This event aims to strengthen the partnership between Japan and Singapore in the field of smart city development by sharing the strengths and initiatives of both countries, using the Punggol Digital District, the latest smart city project in Singapore, as a case study.
